Welcome to the Climate Action Forum

In the interest of offering the Berkeley College community and the public a forum to discuss climate science, the Project GreenPath Committee has planned this virtual Climate Action Forum. A series of panel discussions will be held at Berkeley College campuses and will be videotaped and streamed live from this blog.

The panel discussions are designed to start the conversation about climate change and action. Everyone is invited to continue the conversation by posting comments to this blog. Project GreenPath Committee members will moderate the discussion.

The first panel discussion, "Climate Science: What's Happening with the Climate?" will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 6:30-7:30 pm.

Thank you for joining us as we explore the issues surrounding climate science. And many thanks to Project GreenPath Committee members who have helped to coordinate the forum:
  • Alice Hayes
  • Laura Harste
  • Cindy Rubino
  • Kevin Frey
  • Amanda DePalma
  • Cristina Carnemolla
  • Raiana Stinnett
  • Katherine Wu
  • Paul Hebert
  • Rosemarie Berman

  1. We live on a planet that has cylical changes in weather due to a variety of factors, none of which involve human beings.

We are currently in a cooling trend correlated with sun activity. We can adapt to it, but there is absolutely nothing we can do to change it.
